In the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, surrounded by the serene beauty of the River Swale and rolling green hills, Muslim Family Adventures invites you to a weekend of reflection, connection, and companionship. The Yorkshire Dales Connection & Relationship Expedition is a unique three-day journey designed to deepen bonds, nurture meaningful relationships, and create lasting memories in one of Britain’s most breathtaking landscapes. Our experience begins with a night walk under the stars, where participants can witness the awe-inspiring Milky Way and reconnect with the tranquillity of the natural world. Day Two takes us to the iconic Aysgarth Falls, with a refreshing blend of waterfall, riverbank, and moorland walking followed by our signature relationship and family workshop—a warm, faith-centred space to explore communication, compassion, and connection. As evening settles in, we gather around the campfire for reflection and conversation beneath open skies. On Day Three, the expedition continues with an energising mountain biking session, offering shared challenge, confidence-building, and joyful moments together. Throughout the expedition, we cook together, pray together, and explore together, building sincere connections rooted in faith, kindness, and community.
Accommodation
Our base for the weekend, Grinton Lodge, is a charming former hunting lodge set high on the hillside overlooking the River Swale. Surrounded by open moorland and sweeping views of the valley, it offers the perfect setting for reflection, connection, and adventure. The lodge combines a sense of rustic heritage with the warmth of communal spaces, ideal for workshops, gatherings, and shared meals. From its doorstep, participants can step straight into some of the most beautiful walking trails in the Yorkshire Dales, with starlit skies above and the peaceful rhythm of nature all around.
The entire centre has been exclusively reserved for MFA, ensuring that all facilities are dedicated solely for our use throughout the expedition.
