Embark on the Snowdonia Cadair Idris Mountain Biking Expedition based at our centre in Dolgellau. Over three days, experience a magical night walk under the stars, conquer the majestic Cadair Idris with its breathtaking summit views, and finish with an exhilarating day of mountain biking through Snowdonia’s rugged trails and forests. A perfect balance of challenge, connection, and inspiration in one of the UK’s most stunning landscapes.

  • Snowdonia National Park (Eryri) is one of the UK’s most spectacular landscapes — a vast wilderness of rugged mountains, sparkling lakes, and ancient woodlands. Covering over 800 square miles, it offers endless opportunities for hiking, cycling, climbing, and discovering the beauty of the natural world. Rich in wildlife and steeped in Welsh culture and legend, Snowdonia is a place where every path leads to awe-inspiring views and unforgettable experiences.

At the southern edge of the park lies the historic market town of Dolgellau, surrounded by forests, rivers, and rolling hills. Known for its slate-stone buildings and warm hospitality, Dolgellau is a gateway to adventure, with trails, cycle routes, and breathtaking scenery right on its doorstep.

Towering above the town is Cadair Idris, one of Wales’ most iconic peaks. Steeped in legend and meaning, its dramatic ridges, glacial lakes, and sweeping panoramas draw walkers and climbers from across the world. Whether admired from below or conquered at the summit, Cadair Idris embodies the wild and majestic spirit of Snowdonia.

Together, Snowdonia, Dolgellau, and Cadair Idris form a landscape where nature inspires, challenges, and restores — the perfect setting for unforgettable adventures.
