Peak District Love & Kindness Expedition

The Peak District Love & Kindness Expedition is a faith-centred, matrimonial-focused experience designed to create a respectful, safe, and intentional environment for all participants. These Terms & Conditions exist to protect the dignity, privacy, and wellbeing of everyone attending, while supporting the purpose of the expedition. By booking, you agree to participate with sincerity, good adab, and mutual respect, and to accept the cancellation, refund, and conduct policies outlined below.

1. Nature and Purpose of the Expedition

The Peak District Love & Kindness Expedition is designed primarily for Muslims seeking marriage, with friends and family welcome to attend in a supportive capacity.

The expedition aims to:

  • Create a halal, respectful environment for meaningful connection

  • Encourage self-reflection, character development, and readiness for marriage

  • Allow opportunities to meet others naturally through shared activities

MFA does not guarantee:

  • A match, proposal, or marriage outcome

  • Compatibility between any participants

All outcomes remain subject to individual choice, duʿāʾ, and the will of Allah.

2. Participation Categories

Participants may attend as:

  • Marriage-seeking participants

  • General participants (family members, friends, or supporters)

Pricing, accommodation, and programme access are based on the participation type selected at booking.

Providing inaccurate information about participation intention may result in reassignment or refusal of participation.

3. Conduct, Adab, and Behaviour

All participants are expected to uphold:

  • Islamic adab and modest conduct

  • Respectful communication and interaction

  • Consideration for others’ comfort, boundaries, and dignity

The following are not permitted:

  • Inappropriate or persistent attention toward another participant

  • Pressure, manipulation, or intrusive questioning

  • Private or secluded interactions that compromise adab

  • Any behaviour that makes others feel unsafe or uncomfortable

MFA reserves the right to intervene, set boundaries, or ask a participant to leave if conduct is deemed inappropriate or harmful to the group environment. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

4. Matchmaking & Introductions

Matchmaking during the expedition:

  • Occurs naturally through shared activities and facilitated spaces

  • Is not structured, forced, or guaranteed

  • May include gentle facilitation or guidance at the discretion of the organisers

MFA is not a matchmaking agency and does not mediate disputes or outcomes beyond the expedition.

5. Accommodation & Room Allocation

  • Full Expedition participants may be accommodated in:

    • Shared male or female rooms, or

    • Family rooms (subject to availability)

  • Part Expedition participants do not stay overnight

Room allocations are final and based on availability, group balance, and safeguarding considerations.

Requests will be considered but cannot be guaranteed.

6. Workshops & 1-to-1 Consultations

Workshops and activities are provided for reflection and personal development, not therapy or counselling.

Marriage-seeking participants are offered a free 15-minute 1-to-1 consultation with Aisha Jasuleviciute (Aisha’s Sukūn) or Faisal Khaffar (MFA), subject to availability.

These consultations:

  • Are confidential

  • Are not clinical or therapeutic services

  • Do not replace professional counselling

MFA and facilitators are not liable for decisions made following these sessions.

7. Health, Wellbeing & Responsibility

Participants are responsible for:

  • Their own physical and emotional wellbeing

  • Disclosing relevant medical, dietary, or access needs during booking

Outdoor activities involve walking on uneven terrain and variable weather conditions.

By attending, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
